Established during the colonial era, this station preserves hundreds of mango varieties. It reflects the cultural and agricultural richness of Malda, Bengal’s mango capital.

Also hosts exhibitions and mango food festivals.The ICAR-CISH Regional Research Station (CISH-RRS) and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Malda, West Bengal, is dedicated to mango research and other subtropical horticulture crops. The station was inaugurated in 2016 and focuses on exploring and utilizing native mango varieties, developing improved fruits and vegetables, and standardizing post-harvest management practices. It also conducts research on vegetables, floriculture, medicinal and aromatic plants, guava, and litchi.

Visit during mango season (May–July), take a guided tour, attend a tasting workshop, and buy fresh produce directly from the source.
