The celebration includes community feasts, dances, and musical events, uniting locals and tourists in shared devotion.Durga Puja is a major Hindu festival celebrated in Kalimpong, West Bengal, known for its unique blend of traditions and simplicity, especially among the Gorkha community. The most prominent puja in Kalimpong is held by the Kalimpong Milani Club, established in 1929, and other Bengali community pujas also take place. The festival is a nine-day celebration with cultural programs, feasts, and social gatherings.
